Our season usually runs mid-June through the beginning of August.  We will update our website and social media with announcements on opening and closing dates.

What are the hours for u-pick?

Do you sell pre-picked blueberries?

All of our blueberries are pick-your-own.  Pre-picked blueberries are not available at this time.

Should I bring my own containers?

Half-gallon pitchers are provided for picking.  Feel free to bring your own reusable bag for or container to take your blueberries home.   But don’t worry!  We also have bags available for you to take them home in.

Are your blueberries organic?

While we are not certified organic, we do use organic practices.  We do not spray our plants with any pesticides.

What kinds of blueberries do you have?

We have about 650 blueberry bushes comprised of six different rabbit eye varieties that do well in this part of North Carolina.  The varieties are Premier, Climax, Tifblue, Powder Blue, Ira and Onslow.

What are the rules about food & drink?

We recommend bringing a water bottle and a few snacks – blueberry picking can work up quite the appetite!  We do have cups and cold water if you forget.  You’re welcome to relax and enjoy the farm near our swing area.  We kindly ask that you use the trash cans provided and help us keep the farm clean.

What should I wear to the blueberry farm?

We recommend wearing closed-toe shoes for comfort and safety, along with a hat and light clothing while you pick because it can get pretty warm.  Don’t forget to apply your sunscreen.

What else can I expect at the farm?

If the weather’s nice, our Blueberry Welcome Crew – two donkeys and a few playful goats – will be out to say hello at our stable.
